When I look back, it’s astounding to see how many times I looked for answers, love and truth outside of myself.
Cultish spiritual groups, hyped-up business coaches and guru-like boyfriends gave me the illusion of security and confidence. But inside, I kept feeling fragile, not really knowing where to stand in myself.
Ten years ago, three things/people came onto my path that started to change that:
+ Human Design
+ My relationship with Ivo, who truly sees me and honors me
+ IFS (a therapeutic modality), which taught me to be radically kind to myself (even to my harsh inner overlord)
My Human Design chart invited me to be slow in a fast world (emotional authority), to listen to my gut (Manifesting Generator) and most of all, to let go of the mental pushing, the ‘shoulds’ and my ideas about what a perfect life had to look like.
It was hard. It was challenging to realize how much of my life was reigned by my mind – even though I thought I was a fairly free being.
Later on in the process (quite recently!), I realized that Human Design might be yet another external illusion of safety.
If taken too far, it can lead to endless self-analyzing and even self-surveillance. It truly is a tool, not a religion.
A religion guides every single part of your life, while a tool can be used when one sees fit. There’s a sense of freedom around it, with little to no attachment.
That freedom is what I’m feeling now. I’ve come into touch with an inner knowing and grounding that guides my life and business. Human Design offered a beautiful springboard for it, but what I’ve come to find inside transcends it.
Life isn’t easy all of a sudden (it isn’t designed to be!). But whatever challenging stuff life and business throws at me, there’s a strong inner foundation to deal with it.
That kind of resilience is the cornerstone of success in the material world –
I’m not even talking about money necessarily, but the ability to make progress with your life and business.
In my world, the foundation of our marketing is our radiance, the second building block (supported by tools like Human Design & astrology) is self-recognition, and the final – often overlooked – marketing piece is that resilience.

❍ did a 6-month online marketing course. result: was underwhelmed & became motivated to offer an alternative to all the ‘generic marketing blah’ that’s out there
2020 | Mary Ann Winiger’s book and audios awakened something in me
2022-…..
❍ a deep surrender
❍ another business rebirth (and not just business)
❍ a focus switch from external → internal success
❍ ending up with a business that feels true to me, a quiet confidence, and a much simpler life than before
